Deleting your Vendariz account
You can delete your account yourself, from the app or the web. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
If you are a team member
Deleting your account erases your sign-in, email address, phone number, address and profile photo, and removes your profile. You will be signed out and will not be able to sign in again.
What the business keeps. Records of the work you did — restocks, stock counts, mileage and cash records — stay with the business you worked for, under your name, as you agreed when you accepted the invitation to join. Your email address and phone number are removed from those records everywhere they appear. The business keeps your name on its own records for up to seven years after you leave.
On the Vendariz app
More → the gear icon → Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm. It happens immediately.
On the web
Sign in at app.vendariz.com → Account → Personal → Delete my account.
If you own the business
Deleting the business is immediate, total and irreversible. It destroys the whole business: every market, every record, every team member’s account, and your own. Your subscription is cancelled and the payment method removed; there is no refund for the remainder of a paid period, and there is no way to reopen it afterwards.
Export anything you want to keep first. Once it is done, the copy you exported is the only copy that exists.
You will be asked to type the business name and sign in again before it proceeds. If an ownership transfer is in progress, cancel it first.
On the app: More → the gear icon → Delete account. On the web: Account → Billing → Close account.
If you cannot sign in
Email privacy@vendariz.com from the address on the account and tell us you want it deleted. We will verify that the address is yours before acting — that check exists to stop somebody else deleting your account, and we cannot skip it.
Some records survive any deletion and we would rather say so here than leave you to find out: database backups are kept for a short, fixed period before they age out; our payment processor keeps its own invoice and payment records under financial-record obligations we cannot override; and anonymous statistics that cannot identify you or your business are kept. Our Privacy Policy sets all of this out in full.
